The first night went well. We had her in the crate in our bedroom, beside the bed, and after the lights went out she quieted down and slept. She didn't wine at night, but we could hear her moving around a few times, so we took her out to pee and poo (total of 3 times during the night).
The second night was a night from hell! She kept whining and crying. We had to take her out every hour (when she'd stop whining, of course). Thankfully last night (third night) was much better and we hope it will continue to be this good. We set the alarm to take her out every three hours and she seems to be able to hold it that long at night.
Let's see how tonight goes!
During the day it's quite a challenge as well. We constantly have to keep an eye on her since she'll pee every 30 minutes when awake and sometimes with no warning. So there's been a few accidents so far. We are trying to teach her to ask for the door, but I read it can take a few weeks for them to learn!
Thanks goodness crates exist, because we put her in there when we're having supper or she's napping and we need a break too! We're both feeling exhausted and tired emotionnally. Let's hope things get better.
