Today Mia had her first experience at a dog park. We went to Conroy Pit with her. She was so excited and had so much fun!!! We were very hesitant to take her off leash, since her recall isn't that great yet, but after walking with her for a bit and evaluating the place, we decided to give it a try.
It went pretty well, except two times she went off with some people, following them and their dogs, since they had treats. Mark had to go get her and bring her back. But other than that, she did pretty well and followed us and played with the other dogs.
After that, we went to dog classes and she was sooo tired that she was laying down in the class most of the time, other than when we were doing the exercises. It was pretty funny to see her that tired!
So it's quite true what they say: "A tired dog is a good dog!"
