Yesterday we were able to go on our first walk around the block with Mia. She was always too scared before that, because of her bad experience when we tried going for a walk with her before. It went pretty well this time. She was a little hesitant at one point when a car went by, but then she saw this girl loading her car in her driveway and she ran to the girl to be pet, pulling me with her. She LOVES people!! That made her forget all about the passing car! She even did well when we passed by an ATV that was being used to clear a driveway. We just kept feeding her treats and walking by without hesitation. Can't wait until she gets her last set of shots on Monday so we can take her for more walks without worrying about her getting sick because she doesn't have all of her shots! Also, we'll find out on Monday how much she weighs now.
