Summer vacation at the cottage

We had our annual summer vacation at the Reids' cottage again this year. We went from August 21st to August 29th.   We were pretty lucky weather-wise!  It was nice relaxing and getting away for a while... and also made it a little easier on all of us, with Luke being gone... Mia whined for a while the first day at the cottage... I think she was expecting Luke to be there since last time she was there, he was there too (for Mark's birthday)...  Poor her... it broke my heart  :(   

But she was okay the second day and started being herself again... exploring, swimming, getting boat rides, eating sticks, napping, chasing the ducks and stalking the chipmunks!   Here are some pictures.
