Luke's gone to his forever home

Our foster Luke (#1588) left today for his forever home.  As much as we're sad to see him go, we're also happy that we found such a good home for him (at least we hope so).  I was in tears for a bit as he was getting ready to leave and after that.  I'm told it does get easier with time, as you foster more...  We shall see.   Here's a picture I took of Luke just yesterday.

Mia misses Luke already...  and we will also miss him dearly.  We felt bad for Mia so we gave her a new toy: Mr. Ducky!
